DREAM CATCHER

The original Dream catchers are of American Indian origin. Dream catchers are said to aid and protect those sleeping below by filtering their dreams. The good dreams pass through the web and drift down the feathers to the sleeper, while bad dreams are said to become hopelessly entangled in the web, where they perish at the first light of dawn. By hanging a dreamcatcher above your bed, you signal to a deeper part of yourself that you want to remember those dreams that are of use to you. Traditionally, the Dreamcatcher was made out of willow or green branches and sinew, decorated with stones, or parts of animals of certain characteristics and energies. The feathers symbolise air or the breath of life.

Our Dream-suncatcher is made with coloured glass and rainbow-coated crystal beads, with goldtone 'feathers', and measures approx 10" from the hanging loop to the bottom of the feathers.

Suncatchers with a metal Sun or Elephant

A charming addition to any room, these will be sure to attract attention with their non-tarnishing aluminium smiling sun, or cute elephant motif.

Just above the loop from which the motif hangs, are threaded three faceted crystals to catch the sunlight and above that is a mixture of coloured and clear glass beads.

The length is approx. 29-31cm (11½ - 12 inches), including the motif, but excluding the hanging loop.
