Hematite Ankh Cross

This is a small Hematite Ankh cross on a sterling silver chain. The cross size is 2cm x 1½cm.

A symbol from ancient Egypt, the Ankh carries the idea of a key to unkock the mysteries of Heaven and Earth. Combining the symbols of Osiris(the T cross) and Isis(the oval), it is a symbol of immortality, and is often depicted as being carried by the gods.
