Burnt Horn, bone & wood

This dark brown burnt horn pendant is in the shape of a Maori fishhook. This is teamed with brown & white bone beads and wood beads, on a leather thong. The thong ties at the back and is adjustable for men or women.

This design represents "Hei-Matau", which is said to bestow good luck and fortune on the owner and is also worn as an amulet of protection - especially over water .
